Vegas-born Dessie’s Table is named after Dessie Bailey, one of the founders of Opportunity Village, a local nonprofit that empowers, employs, and serves adults with disabilities. At Dessie’s Table, baked goods and determination were plentiful, as she worked tirelessly to ensure Las Vegans with disabilities had a place in their city. All proceeds from Dessie’s Table go to support the original Opportunity Village mission, just like Dessie would have wanted.
